I have arrived here in Stuttgart-Plieningen [a small suburb a few minutes from the city center].I have already been here for nearly a week, though it feels as though I just got here [it still feels as though I've just got here in Germany as well, though I've been here since the end of August]. I believe classes begin on the 15th, so I still have a[whole]nother week of break, though I've already had classes, tests and finals since I've been here in Germany [for a language course].
I have an idea what classes I want to take, but I'm not quite sure yet.
I will keep everyone updated as I find out [decide] what classes I take, and all the other potentially interesting turn of events. not so interesting, but two days ago I finally got a coffee grinder and a jacket. now I can finally grind and drink the coffee that I brought with me from the US, which I'm sure is on its last legs of freshness, and I can also finally be warm.

we have our first big(ish) regatta tomorrow in seattle. we did pretty well for ourselves at row for the cure so we'll have to see how we fair in a more competitive environ. glad to hear things are going well and warm and caffeinated.
Andrew!
I'm glad you're doing well. I hope I get my postcard eventually. We're trying to have a Halloween party somewhere. I'm sure it's not going to be as awesome as last year's, but maybe I'll send you some pics.
