Things are going really well here, though tomorrow I have a presentation about the music here in Tübingen, and by tomorrow night I need to turn in a paper about the same topic. Yesterday and today were the hottest days since I've been here, but I think that might be done now, as this evening the clouds came in and we had nice big downpour with lightning and thunder and everything. Also today I bought a german book, in hopes that I can read german better than I could before, and that reading a [youth]book will further speed along my german comprehension.
On wednesday we went to Stuttgart for the day, we went to a few various museums, such as a history museum of this state, and the Mercedes museum, and I also went to an art museum. But after all that and walking around all day I was totally exhausted. then last night we went to the opera in stuttgart, it was really a lot of fun, but I didn't really understand more than a few lines here and there.
it's pretty crazy that I've already been here for about three weeks, and only two weeks until I move to Stuttgart, which I'm really excited about, though it's been nice getting to know the other students in the program, I've also been hanging out with some of my tutors who are glad to correct my german and show us the city and enlighten us about german culture.
On thursday we're going to Freiberg, and the schwarzwald, and next week is our last week of orientation, which means more tests, but I'm getting four credits for this month, which is pretty nice, though I've certainly spent enough time in class [26 or so hours a week of classes].
