This last weekend I was in Berlin for four days, which was a great fun. visited the Reichstag, the brandenburger tor, lots of museums, the holocaust memorial, and a lot of just wandering the streets of Berlin. But I'm back in Stuttgart now, and I find that after my first real trip away from stuttgart, I feel a lot more settled here. It's slightly hard to believe I've been here for exactly three months today. Already a quarter through my time here in Germany.

Along with going to Berlin, and all the other things, I've also been fairly busy with classes, but it's sometimes hard to find motivation to work, the courses being in German both add motivation to study harder, and take away the motivation, since I know I have to think twice as hard, trying to get through the assignment, and understanding what exactly the assignment want me to do. another hindrance is that the classes aren't the most captivating. My landeskunde
(German civilization) class is fairly interesting, but I don't really have anything to do for that class, my bio class is probably the most interesting, but all I have is a single presentation, and no lectures or anything, we will only meet in order to give the presentations, and that isn't until the end of december through january, my topic is strategies for combating/controlling schistosomiasis/schistosoma. The two classes that I have the most homework for are the least interesting. my intermediate german course is interesting, but pretty dry, it's mostly grammar, sentence structure, stuff like that, and my last course is business German, which I think will be good for me, but it's still my least favorite class.
